Our programs are accredited by the International Coaching Federation as a Continuing Coach Education. All our programs offer a minimum of 40 ICF CCE hours (24 CC + 16 RD) that coaches can use to renew an existing credential and support their ongoing professional development. If you need additional CC or RD hours you can enrol in multiple programs that we have on offer.
Please note that we do not offer the 10 hours of mentor coaching required for first time credentialing. You can check the ICF website for approved mentor coaching providers. We also do not provide the 3 hour ethics component needed for renewal. However, the ICF offers a free ethics course on their website that you can complete to meet this requirement.
You can read more about how CCE hours work on this page of the ICF website.
No. Initial ICF credentialing requires completing an ICF approved Level 1 or Level 2 program that includes accredited training, supervised practice and mentor coaching. According to ICF guidelines, CCE hours cannot be used toward an initial credential. Once coaches hold their ICF Level 1 or 2 accreditation they can use the CCE points from any of our programs for their renewal.
For full details please refer to this page on the ICF website.
Absolutely. Our programs are open to anyone, not only ICF coaches. You can join even if you are simply interested in understanding how your brain works, improving your leadership, or strengthening the way you support others.
Our training provides practical tools and teaches you how to apply the i4 Neuroleader™ Model and Methodology in your personal development, your professional practice, or your work with clients. Each of our four programs builds a different capability and they also fit together as a full, structured pathway if you want the complete experience.
Many participants come from fields such as HR, consulting, education, wellbeing and leadership development, so you do not need an ICF credential to benefit from or complete the program.
Yes. We are an accredited ICF CCE provider, although our certification is completely independent from the ICF. Certification with us is required for anyone who wants to use or apply the i4 Neuroleader™ Model and Methodology in their professional practice.
Yes. If you're looking to renew your ICF ACC, PCC, or MCC credentials, you've come to the right place.
We have designed our programs so you can earn the points you need based on your timeline, whether your renewal is urgent or you are planning ahead.
- The i4 Neuroleader™ Course includes 40 hours (24 CC + 16 RD)
- The Brain Friendly Leadership Certification includes 60 hours (36 CC + 24 RD)
- The Next Human Retreat includes 40 hours (24 CC + 16 RD)
- The i4 Neuroleader™ Assessment Certification includes 80 hours (48 CC + 32 RD)
Programs 2 and 4 include program 1 (the i4 Neuroleader™ Course) which is quick to complete. If your credential is about to expire you can enrol now and complete the i4 Neuroleader™ Course first to secure the 40 hours you need for renewal.
After your ICF renewal is processed you can continue with the remaining components of the 60 or 80 hour program because the first 40 hours are already completed. The additional hours will then count toward your next three year cycle. This lets you spread your point collection across two renewals while continuing meaningful learning that supports your growth and practice.

Featured In ‘The 100% Human At Work’ Virgin Unite Initiative & Awarded Finalist in AITD’s Best Leadership Programs
The About my Brain Institute partnered with ASX to roll out the i4 Neuroleader™ Program across their Executive and Senior Leader groups in multi-month cohorts. Leaders were introduced to neuroscience based tools that helped them improve delegation, sharpen thinking and manage stress more effectively in a demanding regulatory environment. The i4 Neuroleader Assessment™ encouraged deeper self awareness and vulnerability by gathering feedback from both work and personal networks, which strengthened trust and collaboration. The results were so positive that the program was later featured in Virgin's ‘100% Human at Work’ and recognised in AITD.

Running the i4 Neuroleader™ Program for Executives Virtually
The About my Brain Institute has done an incredible job in putting the most recent research on the brain into a practical format that business leaders can use to lead their organisations more effectively. Running the i4 Neuroleader Program virtually during the pandemic gave my executive team a space to reconnect, reflect and understand how to lead through uncertainty. The 360 assessment was eye opening and helped every member of the team see where they could strengthen their relationships at work and at home. Complex times require new mindsets and this is what the i4 offers.

A Journey Of Self-Realisation and Leadership
About my Brain Institute’s work is outstanding, providing a new and creative way to look at our leadership and personal effectiveness. Their research combined with an engaging approach made the program both useful and enjoyable. The 360° feedback i4 Neuroleader™ Assessment helped my team understand our capabilities, but more importantly gave us the tools to make positive changes in the way we lead.

If You Want Something Different,
Do Something Different
I chose the i4 Neuroleader™ Program because I wanted a different approach to leadership and coaching, one that looked at the whole person rather than just workplace behaviour. The mix of neuroscience, emotional intelligence and practical tools gave me a deeper understanding of myself and how to guide others. The 360 assessment revealed strengths and blind spots I had never fully seen. This program has reshaped how I coach, how I support teams and how I think about leadership, and it will be a key part of the skillset I bring back to my organisation after my sabbatical.

Creating A Brain-Friendly Culture
I chose the i4 Neuroleader™ for this journey because we are really looking for the competencies that are going to help us as a modern company and take us through the challenges of today and to improve our overall management & leadership in the organisation. We noticed a shift throughout the organisation since introducing the i4 Neuroleader™ Program. The levels of awareness amongst the members of the executive team have significantly improved the way we work and interact with each other. Understanding brain function is key to increasing engagement and productivity.

The i4 Neuroleader™ Model in the Public Sector
I turned to the i4 Neuroleader™ Model because the public sector today is the definition of VUCA and I knew my leadership needed to evolve. The certification, coaching and hands on learning gave me a deeper understanding of my brain, my blind spots and why personal leadership must come first. Applying this tool has changed the way I work with my teams. I listen more, react less and create space for imagination to solve complex problems. Understanding how the brain, heart and gut work together has transformed how I lead and how I show up each day.

If Your Staff Is Not Talking About Creativity, You Are Falling Behind
Identifying and solving problems is part of daily life in the legal industry, yet the best solutions often emerge when people feel relaxed, creative and genuinely happy. This was the core message of the ‘Leading with Laughter’ event hosted by the About my Brain Institute for the team at McCabe Curwood, highlighting how a lighter mindset can enhance performance and collaboration.

Giving a Head Start To Our Leaders of Tomorrow
The team at About my Brain did a fantastic job in providing a safe space where participants could express their concerns and wishes for the future. They also encouraged participants to reflect on how to enhance their own leadership and help them outline an easy-to-follow action plan based on the results of their assessments.
